It is a careful balance of the management and "hands-on" skills required in this challenging field. The programme is divided into four semesters. For the first and third semesters, the studies are based in the school's well-equipped educational facility. The second and fourth semester consist of a period of industry placement in a reputable food-service establishment. Students take courses in culinary skill development, international cuisine, baking and pastry, butchery and meat cutting, food culture, menu planning, human resource management, kitchen management and computer applications and costing alongside food production. Our campus is a hotel where students may wish to reside and where all the practical and theoretical classes take place. Students participate in running the hotel operation and the Culinary Arts students do their applied hotel operations module by assisting in preparing meals in the kitchen.

Description / diplomas: The Schools of Tourism Education constitute the specialised state organization which provides tourism education and training in Greece.
They operate as Legal Entities of Public law supervised by the Ministry of Development.
The Schools of Tourism Education consist of the Former School of Tourist Professions and the Schools of Tour Guides.
The new form of the Schools signals both their contemporary role in the reorganization and modernization of Tourism education and training in Greece, and the formation of a contemporary system for the accreditation of the professional qualifications in the tourism sector.
The aims of the Schools policy are:
-The systematic observation of the job market and the training adaptation to the needs of this market.
-The formation of sectional politics in tourism education and training adopting unified models and high quality.
-The contribution to the fulfillment of the goals of the tourism policy, focusing on the improvement of the Greek tourism product competitiveness and the dynamic development of the tourism business.
-The relation and connection of the education provided to the production and the increase in the absorption of the Schools of Tourism Education graduates.
