Description / diplomas: Established by celebrity TV chef Rick Stein, the courses on offer at Padstow Seafood School range from one day to four day, five night residential cookery courses. These include speciality courses such as Thai and Chinese, Southern Indian, French and Italian and Australian fish cookery. Alongside
these established seafood classes a baking course is being introduced for 2004 to be run by patissier Stuart Pate. Day courses dedicated to fish filleting will also be on offer as well as a day incorporating a trip to Newlyn Fish Market. In addition there are courses inspired by Rick's Food Heroes programmes and books; these are available on either a two or four day basis. All the courses are recreational and prices range from £155.00 for a day to £1395.00 for the four day residential course. This includes five nights accommodation, evening meals, refreshments throughout the day, all
tuition and a recipe folder to take away.
