IHMES International Hotel School is one of the few purely professional Hotel Schools in the UK and the only one of its kind in the Isle of Man concentrating solely on preparing young people for a challenging, rewarding career within the exciting hotel, hospitality and tourism industry.

Founded in 1984, it has over the years gained a reputation within the industry for turning out capable, multi skilled graduates who understand the business in its true form.

The IHMES Manila campus was established in 1999: where the students do a 1 Year program unique in the fact that it incorporates practical in restaurant, Bar, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry – students deal with real customers! IHMES Manila also has the most up to date computer reservations/billing system as used by hotels worldwide.

IHMES Manila has three intakes every year January, June and September. Students are provided with their full practical uniforms and all demonstrations, practicals, professional visits and computer systems are included in the fees. Students will graduate with the IHMES Associate Diploma in Hotel Management, which prepares them for entry into the Hotel and Restaurant business. With this Diploma they can also directly transfer into the 2nd year at IHMES in the Isle of Man. On completion of their 18 months in the Isle of Man – which includes a nine-month paid practical work experience in the top Hotels in the UK, students will graduate with the IHMES Advanced Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management and the BTEC Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management. And then may transfer without the need of taking further exams into the final year of a UK BA Degree or into the 3rd year of a US Degree.
