Job description	For a larger hotrel located in Nairobi, ECR Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an Executive Sous Chef. The EXec Sous Chef will report to the Executive Chef and will supervise a team of 100 persons. The hotel various international restaurants (60-250 covers) and a very busy conference & banquet department (up to 1000/1500 pax) as well as outside catering. Continuous upgrading of the quality as well as staff training and development are part of the chef's responsibilities.
Contract conditions and benefits	Open contract Expat package including housing (off premisis), medical, accident insurance, 30 days paid leave p/a.
Required education and work experience	European trained educated chef. International experience, including at least 4 years culinary management experience in a high end high volume environment. Knowledge of/experience in Italian, Chinese, Japanese cuisine as well as to some degree in Bakery & Pastry. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on continuous upgrading of the quality as well as staff training and development. Previous experience with controlling food and labor cost, menu development and pricing and development of culinary team is required.
