| Job description |
Energetic and adaptable Line Cook with good interpersonal skills wanted for busy restaurant kitchen within casual Caribbean resort.
Working as part of a small team, you must be comfortable with prep, garde manger, sauté, fryer & grill stations and willing to help with dishwashing duties at end of service.
Our International/Caribbean menu is served daily (30-300 covers depending upon season) plus special dinners for in-house guests and special events. Resort facilities are somewhat basic, due to generator power & water limitations, but we are renowned for our good food, friendly service and beautiful beach location. |
| Contract conditions and benefits |
- 6 day work-week will include split shifts, evenings, weekends & public holidays as required. Salary (dep. on exp.) + gratutities + year-end bonus. Accommodation in a shared house & all meals are provided on-island. Staff discount applies to drinks, giftshop purchases and watersports.

| Required education and work experience |
- Candidates must have a certificate/diploma from a recognized culinary school and a minimum of 2 years experience working in all areas of a restaurant kitchen. Previous experience in the Caribbean or remote locations with limited amenities will be a distinct advantage. Work permit applications require a current medical and police clearance certificate.

As we are located on a virtually uninhabited island, you must have the ability to live in close quarters and thrive on working & socializing within a small team environment. Couples may be considered if suitably qualified for another role within the company (Waiter/Bartender or Gardener/Handyman).
