Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for an Executive Sous Chef position. The position description is as follows: Responsible for the successful day to day operation of the kitchens. Supports the Executive Chef; leadership to the culinary team, to include staffing, recruitment, employee development, financial management and facilities management. Actively involved in concept development and menu engineering. In the absence of the Executive Chef assumes full accountability of the department. Oversees the daily operation by working with the Restaurant Chefs and fill in as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor menu content for effectiveness & makes suggestions for improvement. Maintain Facilities and make suggestions for improvement. Interact with external vendors to obtain the best quality in pricing and product. Participate in company meetings. Act as company agent. Maintain current and accurate reports. Maintain a sense of professionalism at all times. Manage personnel in an effective manner.
Contract conditions and benefits	Salary Range: DOE
Required education and work experience	Qualifications: * Requires an Associates degree ( or similar) in culinary arts and a minimum of 10 years experience in a high quality environment with at least 3 years of management experience. * Experience in buffet, banquet and fine dining venues with high volume/ quality production required, cook chill facility and HACCP experience desired. * Requires strong business math and computer skills. * Proven leadership, motivation, communication, and organization skills * Professional image representative of property image, including ability to handle media appearances. * Experience with information systems related to restaurant management and/or kitchen management.
