For a 4*L hotel on Aruba ECR Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a chef (zelfstandig werkend kok).
He/she will be working 100% hands on in the kitchen, supervising a team of 15 chefs from South America and the Caribbean in 3 kitchens.
The chef will be responsible for quality control and upgrading where needed, as well as training and development of the team, reducing food cost and implementation of SOP's and meeting/exceeding hygiene standards (HACCP).
The chef reports to the FB Manager.
The hotel has 3 restaurants.
Opportunity to become Chef de Cuisine.

- Open Contract (min 1 year)
- Salary on industry standards, including bonus scheme

- 15 days paid vacation per year plus 16 hrs paid leave per month

| Required education and work experience |
- DUTCH Passport required due to permit regulations
- Chefs education (SVH or similar)
- Experience as sous chef/head chef in a busy high end restaurant kitchen or as sr chef de partie in a large hotel operation.
- Independant and creative chef, with good management and communication skills.
