Job description	This hotel is a 4 star Classic Contemporary hotel with 52 bedrooms, four private rooms for conference and events and a two AA Rosette awarded restaurant, Graffiti, serving modern food with a Mediterranean twist. We require a strong, highly motivated and dedicated CDP to join our team of 8 chefs in this award winning Hotel.
Contract conditions and benefits	Salary £16 - £18K depending on experience. Share of monthly gratuities. 28 Days Holidays per annum (including Bank Holidays).Free Meals on Duty.Uniform provided. Discount in Restaurants and on Accommodation at both our hotel and our sister Hotel in York. Ongoing Training and development.Contributory Pension Scheme after 1 year service.
Required education and work experience	The successful candidate will; Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Rosette environment, preferably a 4 or 5* Hotel, as a CDP or Demi CDP. To know the expectations and standards required at Rosette level Loves working with fresh, seasonal and local produce Able to work efficiently and effectively in all sections of the kitchen including pastry Able to supervise and train junior members of the kitchen team. Have excellent attention to detail and a can do" attitude, willing to go the extra mile for our guests
