Job description The Pennington Hotels Group is based in West Cumbria and operates two hotels which have a personal, friendly atmosphere offering fine dining in relaxed and comfortable surroundings.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef De Partie to join us, with between 2-5 years experience. Supporting the Head Chef you will have a keen interest in preparing all meals using fresh local produce. Our business is expanding and we are looking for a Chef De Partie who wants to make a difference and become an integrated, stable part of our business.
In line with UK immigration and employment law, only applicants eligible to live and work in the UK need apply, proof of id will be required in the form of a passport, drivers licence or utility bill upon application.
Contract conditions and benefits
  • Hours of work will be minimum of 40hrs per week, including day and evening shifts.
  • Wage scale between £6 - £7.50ph dependant on experience and training and holiday entitlement of 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays) pro-rata to hours worked
  • As part of the Muncaster group of companies, you’ll receive benefits that allow free entry to the historic Castle, discounts in the gift shop and cafe at the castle as well as ‘family & friends’ discounts on breaks and offers at the hotels, holiday houses and B&B.
