Job description Casino Careers Online has a client that is seeking a candidate for an Executive Chef position.

Description
Implement exemplary Guest service standards throughout the department and monitor the assigned Associates to ensure
that they provide a level of service in accordance with the Resort’s expectations, while taking action to correct noted
deficiencies.

Monitor the operation of all food outlets to ensure compliance with all standards and procedures established by the Resort, the Director of Food and Beverage and all applicable health and regulatory agencies.
Maintain a constant “Floor Presence” to observe the food and beverage operations and effectiveness and to interact with the Guests visiting those outlets.

Maintain the appearance, presentation, cleanliness and overall service of the facilities, rooms, entrances, kitchens to a
level expected of a 4-diamond resort and necessary to meet and exceed the expectations of all Resort Guests.

Required education and work experience
  • Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must possess an Associates degree or higher from an accredited college, university, culinary school or other institute of higher learning with an emphasis in Food and Beverage Management, Culinary or a related field. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Must have attained certification as an Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of previous experience as an Executive Chef and have an understanding of all culinary styles. Previous experience in a 4-diamond resort with multiple outlets or venues is preferable.
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of additional progressive experience as a Chef, Room Chef or Kitchen Supervisor in a high volume production environment, preferably in a 4-diamond resort with multiple outlets or venues.
