For a very large resort complex, ECR Hospitality Recruitment is searching for a General Manager.
The GM will oversee the entire project including various 4 and 5* hotels (which operate under own management), residential areas, clubs, shops and restaurants. Part of this project is still under construction, but about 1000 rooms plus clubs/restaurants are operational already.
This job position focuses on achieving the resort’s financial and operational objectives through planning, directing, and coordinating the entire operations of the resort; aiming at optimizing performance, growing sales, minimizing costs, and ensuring highest customer satisfaction

| Required education and work experience |
- - B.A. Business Administration or B.A. Tourism & Hospitality Management
- - Higher Diploma or Masters degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management is a plus
- - At least ten years of increasing responsibility in hospitality management at hotels, resorts, and/or high-end residential condos
- -Knowledge of : Financial management, Reading financial statements, Forecasting and budgeting, Human resources management, Local labor, sanitation, natural environment laws and regulations
- - Preferably Bilingual (English & Arabic)
- - Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- - Superior leadership skills
- - Excellent judgment and decision making skills
- - Strong public relations’ skills
- - Change management skills
- - Ability to manipulate financial and operational data
- - Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and meet multiple deadlines
