Job description For a large resort including various independent hotels and appartment buildings ECR Hospitality Recruitment is searching for a qualified and highly experienced Laundry manager. The laundry department will be responsible for all laundry coming from its clients (the hotels and apartment buildings up to 2500 rooms) as well as the laundry from the resort's own facilties. The laundry manager will be responsible for achieving the laundry's financial and operational objectives through planning, directing, and coordinating the entire operations of the laundry; aiming at optimizing performance, growing sales, minimizing costs, and ensuring highest customer satisfaction.

The Laundry Manager reports to the Resident Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manages and maintains all laundry facilities and machines as well as managing the
costing, pricing, and timing of laundry services.
Ensuring proper staffing forecasts, hiring, scheduling, evaluating, and training of laundry staff.
Ensuring the satisfaction of all beneficiaries
Manages the daily operation and activities in the laundry department.
Setting up SOP's and ensures the results meet the standards

Required education and work experience
  • - Diploma in Business Administration
  • -12 years of experience in the laundry industry
  • - Working knowledge of laundry machines, laundry supplies, laundry operations and best practices
  • - General knowledge textile types and care methods
  • - Excellent self-management skills
  • - Strong supervision skills
  • - Strong problem solving skills
  • - Strong communication skills
  • -Able to work under pressure
