Job description Large international Cruise Line seeks Associate Hotel Manager

Responsibilities will include:

• Direct the function of all Hotel personnel through the management of department heads.

Must have front office and food and beverage experience.

• Recruit, motivate, and develop staff.

• Establish and maintain employee relations including regular department head meetings to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.

• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing quality guest services and amenities within corporate standards as well as, resolving guests’ problems.

• Implement the business and operating budget and competitive program plans to ensure on an on-going basis optimum total guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability.

• Analyze established goals and objective compared to actual results and implements recommendations to achieve projected goals.

• Monitor cash management programs and purchasing practices including inventories and receivables.

• Allocate funds, authorizes expenditures, and assists in planning budgets for departments.

• Provide approval for non-standard requisitions for supplies and equipment.

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities.

• Establish and maintain a prominent level of visibility and involvement throughout the vessel.

• Participate with corporate office in monitoring present and future trends, practices and systems in the hospitality and cruise industries.


Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have:

• Have the ability to innovate and problem solve, transform both qualitative and quantitative data into actionable reports, and Plan and implement new initiatives that drive revenue.

• 5-7 Years experience

• Be able to speak, read, and write English

• Have at the minimum a high school degree / GED.

• All International applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1D Visa

• Applicants must be able to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule

• Meet physical requirements including lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.




Must be willing to work four months on and two months off. While on board you will have no expenses.
