Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage position. The position description is as follows: -Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in overseeing, organizing and managing all food and beverage department operations. -Assist with recommendations and establishment of prices and portions for products and services within approved profit and plan guidelines -Ensure compliance with federal, state and local liquor regulations -Assist in the monitoring of all purchases for the food and beverage department -Assist in the coordination of all equipment repairs, moves and installations -Assist in the evaluation of new equipment for purchase -Assist with all aspects of departmental budgets -Enforce all departmental and organizational policies and procedures -Enforce all standards of quality and performance -Maintain a safe work and customer environment -Maintain proper implementation of sanitary procedures -Ensure compliance with all alcohol service procedures -Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues -Special projects as assigned -Manage work through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development -Manage the selection, training, development and appraisal of staff -Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill -Supervise the hiring, training and scheduling of staff -Actively participate in the hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and evaluation of the Food and Beverage Department management team -Conduct and / or supervise associate counseling sessions including verbal and written corrective action reports -Prioritize tasks, handles multiple projects simultaneously, organize and delegate assignments -Role model the GuestPath Universal Service Standards interacting positively through relationships with guests, coworkers, and supervisors displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for people’s needs -Greet customers positively, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner -Demonstrate skill in dealing with customer complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the customer’s goodwill -Understand the goals and vision of the organization, and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance
