Job description Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Bar Manager position.

The position description is as follows:

Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects of operation and performance of the hotel bars and nightclub including the successful delivery of guest satisfaction. Responsible for developing a positive work environment and developing a well-trained team. Responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsible for all managerial, financial, and inventory aspects of the hotel bars and nightclub.
Contract conditions and benefits
  • Pay Rate: $26.42 per hour
Required education and work experience
  • EDUCATION:
  • -High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. (Copy of either document must be submitted with application)
  • -Two years of accredited courses in Business and Hospitality.
  • SKILLS:
  • -Knowledgeable in all aspects of a nightclub and/or bar.
  • -Must have skills for interviewing and scheduling team members.
  • -Knowledge of computers, registers, and POS systems.
  • -Must have good written and verbal communication skills. (Test required)
  • -Must have good organizational skills.
  • -Must have excellent math skills related to beverage industry financials. (Test required)
  • -Must be able to motivate team members and demonstrate superior guest relations skills.
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • -Minimum of three (3) years experience managing a high volume nightclub/lounge operation.
  • -Minimum of five (5) years experience in a supervisory position in a high volume nightclub/lounge operation.
  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • -Must be certified with the National Restaurant Association for SERVsafe Food Protection Manager Certification Course, or
  • obtain within 1 year of hire. (Submit copy of certification with application if applicable)
  • -Must be have a Class 12 liquor permit, or able to obtain within 60 days from date of hire. (Submit copy with application if applicable)
  • -Must posses a Food Handler’s permit, or obtain one within 60 days of hire. (Submit copy with application if applicable)
  • -Knowledge of HAACP – Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point.
  • -Must attend training and travel as job function and duties require.
  • -Will be responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP's, and co-workers.
  • -Must attend mandatory guest service training.
  • -Must be able to successfully complete either a tribal, state, or federal background investigation.
  • -Must be able to obtain a Category A Tribal Gaming License and Washington State Gambling Commission Class III Certification.
  • -Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • -Must have a successful employment with the Tribes and/or other employment entities.
