Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Bartender position. The position description is as follows: Job Summary: Serves food to guests, mixes and serves drinks, stocks supplies, keeps accurate records of inventory, accepts money and makes change. Maintains the highest level of customer service and food and beverage standards as determined by the Beverage Manager and F&B Director. Employee Reports To: Beverage Superviosr or designee Extent of Job Authority: Authority over Barbacks and Cocktail Servers, including staffing levels. Make decisions regarding intoxicated guest in conjunction with Beverage Supervisor. Specific Duties Performed: -Promotes positive guest relations. -Serves food & drinks, to guests. -Makes coffee as needed. -Stocks beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers and dry goods. -Washes and stocks glassware and utensils. -Cleans bar area. -Follows approved recipes and specifications. -Follows all policies, procedures, and Washington State liquor regulations. -Performs other duties deemed necessary or requested by Beverage Management.
Contract conditions and benefits	Pay Rate: $10.97 per hour
Required education and work experience	GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED EDUCATION: -High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. If applicant does not meet education requirement, employer will allow 6 months from date of hire to meet this job requirement as a condition of employment. -Graduate from a Bartending Academy preferred. SKILLS: -Ability to work with a POS system. -Good character, motivated , hard working. -Ability to work well with customers and co-workers. -Must be able to show interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy. -Good communication skills. -Neat, clean, and healthy work habits. -Must have basic math skills and cashier skills. (Test required) EXPERIENCE: -Two (2) years experience bartending of a full service bar. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: -Must be 21 years of age or older. (Attach proof with application) -Must be able to pass an agility exam to determine if physically capable to perform the essential functions of the job. -Must be able to obtain and hold a Class 12 Liquor permit within 60 days from date of hire. -Must be able to obtain and hold a Food Handler’s card within 60 days from date of hire. -Will be responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP's, and co-workers. -Must attend mandatory guest service training. -Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays. -Must be able to obtain a Class II certification, and be licensed, with the Tribal Gaming Agency. -Must have successful employment history with the Tribes and/or other employers.
