Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Sports Bar Server position. The position description is as follows: The Sports Bar Server assures smooth and efficient operation of the Sports Bar by providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to guests and assist other personnel as needed. Contribute to the overall positive guest experience from the time of approach until their departure. The Sports Bar Server: * Greets the guests with a friendly expression of acknowledgement and good wishes. * Takes care of all guest food & beverage needs. * Has complete knowledge of beverage selection. * Has complete knowledge of the menu. * Has complete knowledge of the POS system. * Enter sales into POS system and process guest payment transactions accurately. * Cash handling (large amounts). * Balances all payment methods with accuracy to sales report. * Has knowledge of casino and who?s who to contact for guest needs. * Keeps work areas clean, stocked and looking sharp at all times. * Before, during and after shift sidework. * Assists other team members as needed. * Assists in maintaining a safe working environment.
Contract conditions and benefits	Salary Range: DOE
Required education and work experience	* High School Diploma or GED preferred. * Previous server experience, preferably high volume. * Excellent guest service skills. * Strong organizational skills. * Be able to maintain a positive attitude towards each guest and fellow employee and make work pleasant and efficient. * Promote and participate in a strong team effort. * Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests. * Ability to do multi tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Successfully complete Responsible Alcohol Service program.. * Requires prolonged periods of standing. * Light/moderate/heavy lifting is required. * Position dictates working in a fast-paced environment and subject to irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays. * Required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. Required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
