Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Director of Food & Beverage position.
The position description is as follows:
Responsible for all aspects of Food & Beverage including Special Events Catering, Buffet, Employee Dining Room, Deli, Kitchen Operations, Beverage Operations, Steakhouse Operations. Responsible for the direction and coordination of all activities within Food & Beverage. Sets operational goals, budget and business plan, and monitors the achievement of performance and profit objectives. Advises the General Manager regarding analyses of operating results, costs, budgets, and forecasts. Responsible for regulatory compliance in areas of responsibility. Develops and administers broad operational policies for all Food & Beverage. Creates and ensures an entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner. Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Company and Resort and encourages others to do the same. |

- GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

- Bachelor’s Degree required, prefer education in hospitality or business. Five to seven years experience in all areas of Food & Beverage required. Must possess excellent managerial and administrative skills. Professional appearance. Team player.

- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations. Lift and carry upwards of 10 pounds. Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment,
- including 10 key adding machines, personal computers, fax machines and photo copiers. Respond to visual and aural cues. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Able to tolerate
- areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
