Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Bartender position. The position description is as follows: To prepare and serve alcohol to guests that are consistent with the standards of the Beverage Department. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in the minimum guest service expectations. Formulate beverages according to established recipes; Serve guests in compliance with responsible alcohol service and guest service standards; Rings up each transaction on the cash register and makes the correct change Requisition supplies for work station to maintain necessary pars and monitor quality of product Initiate and establish superior guest service including recommendation of drink selection and informing of specials Utilize and implement responsible alcohol service training to prevent and recognize potential alcohol related concerns Set up and close work stations in compliance with established procedures Provide change service for video gaming Other duties as assigned
Contract conditions and benefits	Salary Range: DOE
Required education and work experience	Six (6) months bartending experience required; Successful completion of and certification from Bartending School preferred High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred One (1) year cash handling and reconciliation of bank preferred One (1) year computerized point-of-sale system experience preferred Must possess sensitivity to Native American culture Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License Must satisfactorily complete a probationary period Must be able to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner Must follow all safety rules and regulations Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as deemed necessary by department manager Must adhere to dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Must exude confidence, poise, posture, grace and style Women bartenders should have "natural hourglass figures" and men bartenders should have "V-shaped torsos, broad shoulders and slim waist To apply directly to management through entry-level positions in all departments of a casino-hotel resort, gaming technology/manufacturing firm, bingo hall, race track, cruise line, or gaming commission, please click on "Search Jobs" or use this URL: http://www.casinocareers.com/jobsearch.cfm and click on the "Send Resume" button.
