Job description Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Senior Food & Beverage Supervisor position.

The position description is as follows:

-Represent self as a credit to the company by promoting an environment of outstanding customer service. Must provide quick, friendly professional service to all casino guests. Promote internal/external customer services.
-Must be able to communicate clearly with the all patrons/employees. Must provide quick, friendly professional service to all casino guests.
-Accountable for all food and bar inventory, par levels and portion controls, as outlined by management.
-Compliance with all Arizona State Liquor Laws and Indian Community Alcoholic Beverage Ordinances and Environmental Health Regulations.
-Assist with the hiring and training of all assigned personnel. Acts in the absence of the Manager. Provide necessary training to all employees.
-Establish employee schedules based on department needs so as to alleviate overtime.
-Address employee problems pertaining to schedules, uniforms, attendance and disciplinary actions with the approval of the Manager. Must keep accurate and current records of employee call-ins, tardiness, and any type of actions as per policy and procedures.
-Responsible for monitoring the quality of food and beverage items from the receiving end through the preparation and service of items.
-Develop, supervise, coordinate and implement all projects and activities for the assigned Food and Beverage areas.
-Manage and maintain Enterprise equipment.
-Prepare the budget to properly allocate funds according to departmental needs.
-Responsible for the development of and administration of training for all bar positions.
-Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
-Responsible for conducting complete food and beverage inventories as outlined by the Food and Beverage Director.
-Responsible for preparing beverage orders and check requests for payment.
-Maintain superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
-All gaming facility employees must be certified/licensed. The certification process includes a full background check.
-Other duties as directed. Hours are determined by a twenty-four hours schedule and subject to change as needed.
-Preference is given to qualified members of the Tribal Indian Community.
Contract conditions and benefits
  • Salary Range: DOE
Required education and work experience
  • -AA or BS Degree in Food Service Management and three years experience in Hospitality/Restaurant
  • Management, experience in food preparation and bar operations or 5 years of Restaurant/Bar experience with 2 years in supervisory position with some hands on experience in commercial food preparation.
  • -Must have knowledge of mixology drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and successfully complete the State of Arizona alcohol training class for managers.
  • -Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • -Must have a working knowledge of the Arizona Liquor Laws and the Indian Community Alcoholic Beverage Ordinances.
  • -Must be able to obtain a Tribal Food Handlers Card. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety procedures and/or a Serve Safe Certification.
  • -Incumbent must have a conceptual understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, regulations, and technical rules such as the following:
  • *Arizona Revised Statutes and Title 4
  • *Food Service Environmental Health Codes
  • -Must have operational knowledge of P.O.S. (Point of Sales System) and other office software, preferably Microsoft Word and Excel, and any computer software applicable to the Food and Beverage Industry.
