Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Barback position.
The position description is as follows:
Job Summary: Assist Bartender with stocking supplies, making coffee, and general cleaning.
Extent of Job Authority: May recommend refusal of service due to intoxication in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Specific Duties Performed:
-Promotes positive customer relations.
-Makes coffee as needed.
-Stocks beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers and dry goods.
-Washes and stocks glassware and utensils.
-Cleans bar area.
-Performs other job related duties deemed necessary or requested by the Bartender or Management. |

- GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

- EDUCATION:

- -High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- * If applicant does not meet education requirement, employer will allow 6 months from date of hire to meet this job requirement, as a condition of employment.

- SKILLS:

- -Good character, neat, clean and healthy work habits.
- -Must be efficient, motivated, hard working.
- -Must be able to work well with others.

- EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of six months beverage experience.

- OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
-
- -Must be 21 years of age or older. * (Attach proof with application)
- -Must be able to pass an agility exam to determine if physically capable to perform the essential functions of the job.
- -Must be able to obtain and hold a Food Handler’s card within 60 days from date of hire.
- -Must be able to obtain and hold a Class 12 Liquor permit within 60 days from date of hire.
- -Will be responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP's, and co-workers.
- -Must attend mandatory guest service training.
- -Must be able to obtain a Class II certification, and be licensed, with the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- -Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends and/or holidays.
- -Must have successful employment history with the Tribes and/or other employers.
