Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Restaurant Manager - Room Service position.
The position description is as follows:
Implement and insure prompt and courteous service to our guests and monitor the compliance of established standards as developed by the Food & Beverage department. Monitor the associates of the restaurant to assure they provide service in accordance with the standards and take action to correct deficiencies.
Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Resolve guest complaints.
Operate the restaurant in accordance with the Resort’s Mission, Value System, and Guest Promise.
Proficiently operate POS systems, Stratton-Warren Inventory Systems, and back office computer systems.
Monitor the operation of the restaurant to ensure compliance with all standards and procedures established by the Executive Director of Resort Food and Beverage and Resort health and regulatory standards and procedures.
Inspect and monitor cleanliness of entire restaurant area and comply with safety and health code regulations.
Prepare the work schedules for the associates and delegate work and station assignments.
Prepare associate performance evaluations and disciplinary notices.
Communicate and interact with Food Shift Supervisors and associates.
Understand financial reports and apply the information in a timely and practical fashion to improve the operation.
Perform all other duties as assigned. |

| Required education and work experience |
- Must be minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Gaming Commission.
- Must posses the minimum of an associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of previous experience as a Food Shift Supervisor or have some previous management experience in face-paced food and beverage outlet.
- Must have outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must have the ability to set direction and motivate associates. The candidate must be honest and fair.
- Must possess superb team leadership/development and partnering ability. The candidate must be able to accomplish duties in a positive manner.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.
- Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to guests and desire to provide leadership to position the department to achieve the mission.
- Ability to inspire all associates in the Department to provide the highest levels of guest service.
- Must be a creative thinker who can develop new and exciting ways to provide or project value to our guest.
- Ability to deal well with change and uncertainty and flexible enough to adapt and sensibly respond to the situation at hand.
- Should have an understanding of the region as well as a willingness to learn and understand tribal customs, knowledge and

- Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Moderate physical effort required.
- Must be able to lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk 90% of their assigned shift.
- Must be able to consistently bend, stoop, climb, reach, kneel and stretch during their assigned shift.
- Must be able to work within a smoke filled environment.
