Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Financial Analyst position. The position description is as follows: FUNCTION The Banquet Manager is accountable for administration, production, and operation of the hotel banquet department. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Line: -Responsible to the Director of Food and Beverage for successful performance of assigned duties. -Responsible for the supervision and performance of Banquet and Room service. Staff: -Assists and advises other departments and Company personnel, as necessary, to assure the successful performance of the Banquet and Room Service department and the Company overall. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Develops and manages the overall operation of the banquet/room service department and budgeting operations. -Responsible for all banquet/room service functions, coordinating, cost control, inventories, and expenses. -Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Manage programs and processes to control and reduce loss time injuries. -Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluations. -Reviews banquet and room service activities and promotions status with Food and Beverage Director. -Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. -Other duties as assigned. METHODS OF ACCOUNTABILITY -Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and casino policies. -Through various oral and written reports to the Director of Food and Beverage. -Through achievement of performance goals. STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE -Individual Proficiencies -Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Banquet/Room department operational effectiveness. -Public relations and customer service skills. -Oral and written communication skills. -Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel. -Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of Banquets and Room Service. Job Performance -Management of departmental budget and goals. -Effective managing of the staff. -Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. -Ability to solve complex problems. -Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations. -Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures. -Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule. -Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
Contract conditions and benefits	Salary Range: DOE
Required education and work experience	GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE -Five to seven years experience as a restaurant or banquet manager with a 4- year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience. -Valid gaming license and Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications. -Complete Core training modules within 90 days of initial hire date. WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS -Office environment. -Casino environment exposed to smoke, bright lights, and noise. May include boat and/or floating barge.
