Job description	Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Banquet Manager position. The position description is as follows: The incumbent in this position is responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for guests and employees, promoting and retaining a highly skilled work force. The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the service and coordinating the staff for all banquets, meetings and convention center functions involving food and/or convention space; ensuring timely, courteous service according to clients needs. Position also manages a catering business for off-property functions.

Required education and work experience	GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED Experience in the management of catering and banquet operations. Excellent customer relations skills. Knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages. Demonstrated knowledge of table-side service. Ability to maintain bar operations. Working knowledge of all types of banquet room setups. This knowledge and these skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and four years banquet/catering experience, with a minimum of three years? supervisory experience, or through a Bachelors Degree in Restaurant Management or related field and three years? supervisory banquet/catering experience.
